Definitely Diamond is empowered with many excellent properties to become the first choice, but again the myth of its indestructible or eternity has been proved to be a foolish notion.

These types Praise to collect the extent that there is really no room to list them all. I'm going to stick my neck and say that they represent for me the most consistently brilliant producer of Pinot Noir in the South Island. Beware the dark chocolate chewy ripe cherry, black tea and finish of wild game.
Kooyong Pinot Noir 2007 (Mornington – Australia) 2007 ($ 49)
(Delivery two weeks)
This winery made a huge noise with their harvest of 2004 and seems to continue producing the goods.
Look for raspberries, cherries, rhubarb and a touch of graphite (in a good way).
Two Paddocks Pinot Noir 2007 ($ 47.50)
(End of October delivery)
This is actor Sam Neill `s small nest egg. It took me a while to scroll to wine tasting, as I am skeptical about actors making it big and then decided to retire disgracefully in a cloud of fumes of wine in a vineyard. Its wines are generally average or worse.
This wine is an exception to the rule. Thanks to Mr. Neill `s well capitalized approach, which has three small vineyards and together produce one of the pinots most impressive of all – especially at this price.
Look for blackberries, black currants and a long lingering finish that is a few miles extra to the Pinot usual in this price point.
